My brother introduced me to K’naan, a few years back. Unfortunately, in this day and age, he will not get the full recognition his humility and his music deserve. Especially when you have people making ‘songs’ like, “At The Same Damn Time” by Future and “Hard in da Paint” by Waka Flaka Flame. K’naan is a must have in your music library.
Hey creativity is subjective and I respect that, but “Waka Flaka Flame?” it took me a while to understand that was actually the artist’s handle. I heard his music once, and I just couldn’t get, but then again it probably isn’t meant for me to get
A few can’t get it, me including. Sad state of music when people like Waka Flaka, Lil Boosie, Gucci Mane gets more radio time than real artists like K’naan.
